Home > Chief Executive's Blog - January 2019
Posted by admin on January 18, 2019
Welcome to my latest blog and Happy New Year to you all! It is nine months since I started as your Chief Executive and the past few weeks have been as busy as ever.
In this blog, I wanted to update you on the NHS’ long-term plan and current issues facing our health service and the ongoing discussions around Brexit and what NHS trusts have been asked to do.
It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Mary Aubrey will retire from her post as Director of Governance at the end of January – Mary has been an integral part of the Trust board and I’m sure you will join me in wishing her all the very best for her future.
You can read my full blog here. As with previous blogs, I’d appreciate it if you could share this within your teams – especially with colleagues who may not have access to a computer.
I’ve been continuing with my daily Twitter updates using the hashtag #NHSCEOfirstyear; you can find me @aaroncumminsnhs if you want to take a look.
As always, if you have any feedback, ideas or comments – please feel free to get in touch by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or on Twitter.
