Welcome to this month’s blog. As usual, there’s been a lot going on since my last one! Today I want to focus on a couple of ‘big’, high priority areas that are featuring across our organisation at the moment, under the theme of ‘improvement’.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) published its inspection report and rated the Trust as ‘Requires Improvement’. I know that many of you will share my disappointment at our rating, but whilst the report highlights the areas we need to make improvements in it also identifies a number of areas of good practice which I think it’s important to celebrate!
I also give an update on the Flourish at Work relaunch, including information about some upcoming Big Conversation sessions to get your feedback.
You can read my blog here. As with previous blogs, I’d appreciate it if you could share it within your teams, especially with colleagues who do not have access to a computer.
I hope you find my blog useful. As always, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions etc., feel free to get in touch. I’m continuing to post regular updates on Twitter using the #NHSCEODiary hashtag so do head over and take a look; you can find me @aaroncumminsNHS.
