I have a long way to go before I am not in the obese category but already feel much healthier. I am less stiff and less breathless on exertion.
I have found the eating plan easy to follow but you have to make up your mind to do it and stick to it.
I like the Slimming World diet as it does not involve lots of weighing and measuring.
You eat as much fruit/veg/meat/fish/pasta/rice/potatoes as you wish.
On Maternity at FGH, RLI and WGH there are a number of us attend and we have an in house competition. We try to motivate each other to eat healthily.
The UHMBT restaurants provides us with a good choice of healthy salad, soup and fruit options and the staff in the restaurant know we are eating healthily and keep a close eye on what we buy!
